Wendy Redford reports that her new host
family took her on vacation for
two weeks to a beach town. It was especially great
because all the people from her city of Bahia go there and all
of her friends were there too. Her family in the
USA came down for the holidays so she was
able to see them in the beginning of January. In
addition, she was able to go with her previous-host
sister to Buenos Aires a few days to help her move in to her new
apartment, it was great. At first she reports she had some
problems with her new family but they were all able
to talk it out and it turns out there was just a big
misunderstanding, so everything is just fine now. She reports
she is happier than ever!
 Wendy Redford, exchange student from Scottsdale
and graduate of Saguaro High School, just competed a trip spanning
southern Argentina, with 45 other exchange students. They
went to Ushuaia, Argentina, which is the southernmost city in the
entire world. Here she is tasting a piece of glacier.
