Government Affairs in the State of Arizona

Jenna Bentley is the Director of Government Affairs at the Goldwater Institute, where she leads government relations activities in the state of Arizona.

Working at the Arizona Capitol, Jenna advocates legislation for the Goldwater Institute in areas including school choice, free speech, election, tax, and regulatory reforms. Prior to working for the Goldwater Institute, Jenna served as the Executive Director of the Phoenix-based Market Freedom Alliance, where she oversaw the implementation of free-market initiatives throughout Arizona. Jenna was recognized as one of Phoenix Business Journal’s 2017 40 Under 40.

Jenna also worked for the Republican National Committee (RNC) as their Southern Arizona Director. In this capacity, she focused on campaign management and strategy, grassroots mobilization, data, and voter turnout. She was personally recognized by the RNC for her successful creation of new engagement strategies that are now being used nationwide.

Jenna holds a J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
