December 9th, District Governor Michelle Holcomb
 
 
2024-2025 District Governor Michelle Holcomb spoke at the regular
meeting of our club.  She gave us her goals, and those of RI, for this year.
She also let us know the District Conference will be at We Ko Pa in Fountain Hills in May 2025.
 
President Elect Chris West presented "Rolly" awards to those rotarians in attendance 
who have given to Scottsdale Rotary Club Foundation over the past 2 years. 
Recognizing their generosity and giving levels.
 
 
 
November 18th, Kevin Schutzenhofer, TSA
 
 
Kevin is a Stakeholder Manager with the Transportation Security Administration. 
He also brought Jim Hart with the Federal Air Marshals.
They both gave informative presentations and answered a multitude of questions from our members!

November 4th, David Gonzales, U.S. Marshals Service
 
 
Recently retired U.S. Marshal David Gonzales spoke to us about his nearly 50-year career in law enforcement.  Starting at 19 years old as a deputy sheriff for the Coconino County Sheriff's Office, spent 25 years with Arizona DPS and then sworn in as the U.S. Marshal for the District of Arizona on May 3rd, 2002.
 
 
 
October 28th, Scottsdale Rotary Park Day
 
 
President Elect Chris West officiated over our meeting. Ken Brown and his constant grilling companion, Rob Adler, served up delicious Brats. Scottsdale Rotarians and guests lining up for lunch. Past presidents Craig Miller and John Campbell present Barbara Lyons, widow of long time Rotarian Doug Lyons, with a plaque and flag that has flown over unity plaza for the past 6 months!
 
 
 
Laura Biever led our community service road cleanup on Saturday 10/26. Thanks to Rotarians Jim Hann, Ethan Kuhns, Don Bierman, Craig Miller, Vibha Pradhan, Jeanette Griswold, Ken Brown, David Pastor and his guests Holly Baranick and Dena Schulte

Welcome to the Rotary Club of Scottsdale, founded in 1954.
 
Our primary focus this year is to serve the students of Scottsdale, providing them with the resources, mentorship, and opportunities they need to thrive. Through our Scottsdale Student Success initiative, we aim to make a lasting difference for young people in our community.
 
In addition to our commitment to youth, we will work to operate efficiently and transparently, ensuring that every effort is directed toward our mission of service.
 
The forefront of our agenda is to provide value to our current and prospective members. We are enhancing our weekly programs, offering engaging activities, and creating more opportunities for fellowship and networking.
