Hello Scottsdale Rotarians, It's time to register for our field trip to the Western Spirit Museum of the West on September 28, 2026. This field trip will be in lieu of our regular Monday meeting at McCormick Ranch Golf Club. We will have an incredible box lunch provided by Arcadia Farms that I'm sure you will enjoy plus we will have an incredible guest speaker for our lunch. He is Dr. Andrew Nelson, curator of the museum. He has his PhD in film studies, has written books about Western movies, and it a frequent guest speaker on the History channel. He has an excellent 30+ minute slide show with movie clips about the history of the Hollywood Western. There is an exhibit called "Still in the Saddle", a step into the history of the Hollywood Western that will be open for tours for those members who wish to do so. It's important we get an accurate head count of those attending to also include any guests you plan on bringing. Please take the time to RSVP so we can get our lunch order placed.
